  The Soy and Tofu festival was very successful this year. For the first time in 7 years, Japantown hosted the festival outside on Post and Buchanan street instead of inside the mall.  The main event was hosted in Peace Plaza, where there were talks and shows being held. There were many vendors with soy-tofu foods and drinks that lined the streets and even gave out themed merch during a raffle.  The event was well managed given the amount of people that showed. Thank you to everyone who came to support us at our booth on the 23rd of June!We have been lucky to attend many events in Japan Town over the past couple of years but this was our very first time attending one hosted in the evening.  There was a DJ playing remixed music, a bartender serving cocktails, art installations, and even a short fashion show hosted on the stairs.
